Build a Clinical Career Around What Matters to You

Whether you're beginning your allied health career or looking for an environment where you can continue developing your clinical expertise, Therapy Alliance Group offers the support, flexibility and variety to help you thrive.

We are seeking Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to join our multidisciplinary team in Toowoomba, QLD, with opportunities available across experience levels.

This is a single application process where you can indicate your clinical discipline and experience level.

Allied Health Owned. Clinically Led.

Therapy Alliance Group (TAG) is an established, well-known and multidisciplinary allied health organisation providing services across Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and more.

Importantly, TAG is allied health owned and led. As a clinician, you'll be supported and managed by people who understand clinical practice and the realities of delivering quality client care.

That translates into realistic performance expectations, processes designed to support clinical outcomes, and an environment where quality matters alongside quantity.

Our Toowoomba team offers a supportive workplace culture, experienced clinicians to learn from and exceptional supervision, training and professional development. Rather than limiting development to a new graduate program, TAG provides career pathway programs for clinicians at every stage, tailored to the individual.

Two Clinical Pathways | One Supportive Team

Therapy Alliance Group is seeking Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to join its Toowoomba team.

Both opportunities involve delivering high-quality clinical care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment and helping clients achieve their individual potential.

You'll also enjoy a mixed caseload across children and adults, providing valuable clinical variety. Once you've established your core clinical skills, TAG will work with you to tailor your caseload towards areas of special interest, helping you build a career around the work that genuinely engages you.

While both roles share the same supportive environment and commitment to client outcomes, each has its own clinical focus:

Occupational Therapist

You'll support children and adults to build their independence, participation and quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing and treating activities of daily living
  • Assessing and treating motor, sensory and emotional regulation difficulties
  • Supporting clients experiencing challenges relating to memory, play and social skills
  • Developing and delivering individualised therapeutic interventions
  • Maintaining timely clinical records, case notes and written reports
  • Managing appointment and billing records
  • Contributing to clinical resources and quality improvement initiatives
  • Building positive relationships with clients, families, referrers and the wider community
  • Supporting allied health students and Allied Health Assistants where appropriate
  • Actively managing your ongoing professional and clinical development

As your experience develops, there may also be opportunities to provide clinical supervision, contribute specialist knowledge, support service development and lead quality improvement or research initiatives.

Speech Pathologist

You'll work with a diverse caseload of children and adults, providing Speech Pathology services that support each client to achieve their individual goals and potential.

Your role will centre on delivering high-quality assessment and intervention within your professional scope, maintaining clinical documentation and working collaboratively with clients, families and the broader multidisciplinary team.

You'll be encouraged to develop broad clinical capability early in your career, with opportunities to increasingly tailor your caseload towards your areas of clinical interest as your experience grows.

What You'll Bring

We welcome applications from new graduates through to experienced clinicians. What matters is that you are genuinely engaged in your work, care about your clients and bring the consistency and reliability required to deliver quality clinical outcomes.

Your mandatory qualifications will depend on your chosen clinical stream:

Occupational Therapy
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA to practise as an Occupational Therapist in Australia
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
Speech Pathology
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number

As our ideal candidate, you'll be motivated, caring and aligned with TAG's values, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their unique potential.

You'll be willing to learn, comfortable adapting when circumstances change and actively engaged in your own professional development.

Whether you're looking for the structure and supervision to confidently begin your career or you're an experienced clinician wanting greater flexibility and scope to pursue your clinical interests, there's room to build your pathway here.

A Career That Works Around You

Depending on skills and experience, you'll receive a competitive salary ranging from $83,108 + super for new graduates to $124,161 + super for senior clinicians, with additional performance incentives available.

Team members who meet their performance targets can choose between paid bonuses or additional bonus leave.

You'll also benefit from:

  • Flexible roster options, including 4.5-day weeks, 9-day fortnights and other arrangements
  • Exceptional clinical supervision, support and training
  • Individual career pathway programs supporting clinicians at every career stage
  • A mixed adult and paediatric caseload offering genuine clinical variety

  • All equipment and tools required to perform your role within well-resourced clinics
  • A supportive workplace culture where clinical quality and client outcomes matter
